Dr. Love Allen Chijioke Ahakonye (PhD 2024), a distinguished member of the IEEE, is a passionate, devoted full-time researcher and lab leader at the Networked Systems Lab, IT Convergence Engineering, Kumoh National Institute of Technology in South Korea. Drawing on a rich background in the Nigerian oil and gas sector, she has held pivotal roles, including Network and System Administrator from 2002 to 2016 with the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, Benin Medical Zone and Logistics Superintendent with the Nigerian Petroleum Development Company from 2017 to 2019. 

Love earned her MSc in Information Technology from the Federal University of Technology, Owerri, Nigeria (2016), and holds a B.Sc in Mathematics/Computer Science from the University of Port Harcourt, Nigeria (2001). Her academic journey reflects her commitment to excellence and a quest for knowledge.

As an expert in applying artificial intelligence (AI) to Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) SCADA systems, Love's research focuses on critical areas such as intrusion/anomaly detection, cybersecurity, fault detection, and manufacturing execution systems. Her work stands at the intersection of cutting-edge technology and industrial applications, contributing significantly to advancements in the field.

With a proven track record and an insatiable curiosity, Dr Love Ahakonye continues to make meaningful contributions to the research community, bridging the gap between academia and real-world challenges in the dynamic landscape of industrial technology.
